AI sales agent, South Africa
Every lead answered, qualified and followed up
IndunAI is an AI sales agent for South African businesses that run ads and take leads on WhatsApp and their website. It answers the lead while the click is still warm, asks your qualifying questions, books the sales call into your calendar, follows up when they go quiet, and files every step in GoHighLevel.
Send it a lead. Message us the way one of your leads would, on WhatsApp or in the bubble on this page, and watch how quickly it answers and what it asks.
online, replies in seconds
Hi, I saw your ad about the growth audit19:02
Thanks for reaching out. Happy to help. To see if the audit is a fit, roughly what is the business turning over a month at the moment?19:02
R150k to R500kThanks. That fits. Would you like to book a 30-minute call with the team? Thursday has 10:00 and 14:30.19:03
An illustration of the pattern. The revenue bands are the business's own, the tap is filed against the question that asked it, and the times come from the real calendar.
Speed to lead
Answering the ad click while it is warm.
A lead who clicks your ad at 19:00 has probably clicked two of your competitors' as well. Whoever answers first, and answers properly, gets the conversation. A sales team that replies the next morning is replying to somebody who has already chosen.
Click-to-WhatsApp ads
A Facebook or Instagram ad that opens WhatsApp lands on the assistant, which answers in the same minute and records which ad the lead came from. A lead who already said what they want in the first message is answered, not greeted with a menu.
Forms and landing pages
Where your funnel is a GoHighLevel form, a workflow can have the assistant open the WhatsApp conversation itself with an approved template, so the lead hears from you before they have closed the tab.
Only the leads you want it on
If your number also carries existing clients, the assistant can be set to answer only people who came from an ad, or who typed a phrase from your campaign, and leave everybody else to your team.
Lead qualification
Qualification with your own questions.
An AI lead qualification agent is only useful if it asks what your sales team would ask, and if the answers it records are the lead's own words rather than the model's summary of them.
Your questions, one at a time
You write the questions, per service if you like. They are asked conversationally, one at a time, and where you give the answers as options (revenue bands, yes or no) they arrive as buttons the lead taps.
Recorded verbatim, by the server
The answer is filed against the question that was actually asked, in the lead's own words. A bare "thanks" is not an answer, and a tap is credited to exactly the question it came off.
Knock-outs and tiers
An answer you mark as disqualifying ends the enquiry politely, in the server's words, not the model's. Or you set the criteria and the server sorts leads into tiers, each with its own next step.
A goal instead of a script
For a consultative sale, give it a goal and the criteria that matter. It holds a normal conversation, a second read of the whole chat extracts the answers, and the server, not the model, decides which bucket the lead is in.
The next step
Booking the sales call.
Qualification that ends in "someone will be in touch" hands the warm lead back to a cold inbox. The point is to end the conversation with a time in the diary.
Times from your real calendar
Google Calendar, CalDAV or GoHighLevel, including GoHighLevel's own free slots per calendar. The server re-checks the slot at the moment of booking, so two leads never land on one call. How that works is on the AI appointment booking page.
Only the leads that qualify
The diary stays closed until the qualifying answers are in, and a floor you set, such as a minimum turnover, is enforced by the server. A lead below it is told honestly rather than booked into a call that wastes both sides' time.
Confirmed and reminded
The confirmation carries an add-to-calendar link, and reminders go out before the call on WhatsApp. If a lead already holds a meeting, it is not asked to book another.
Lead follow-up
Follow-ups that stop when they should.
Automated lead follow-up has a bad name because most of it never stops. Every follow-up here is off until you switch it on, every message and interval is yours to write, and each one checks, at the moment it would send, whether it still should.
The quiet-chat nudge
A lead who goes quiet mid-conversation gets one message after the delay you set, and one per conversation, ever, only inside WhatsApp's 24-hour window. Your wording can rotate so no two leads get the same line.
After the deliverable
Where the funnel hands over a document and the lead has not booked, a message with a client testimonial link, then one next-day check-in on an approved WhatsApp template, then a polite close if they still do not answer.
What stands them down
A booking the lead holds, a person who has taken over, an open hand-off, a paused chat and any crisis disclosure. A chaser that has nothing left to chase does not send.
Giving up gracefully
Optionally, a conversation going nowhere after a few unhelpful replies gets one polite line and a pause, and the lead's card moves to Unresponsive or Disqualified, whichever you choose. Nothing is blocked by default.
The CRM
Filing into GoHighLevel.
A sales assistant that keeps its own records makes your team work in two places. IndunAI files into the GoHighLevel sub-account your team already lives in, as each thing happens.
Contact and card
The contact is created or updated the moment a contact detail lands, and the lead gets an opportunity card titled with their name, on the pipeline for the service they asked about.
Stages and tags
Qualification, booking, a hand-off to a person and giving up each move the card to the column you mapped. A configured tag marks ad leads the moment they write in, and another marks each document delivered.
Appointments and notes
A booked call becomes a GoHighLevel appointment, and a meeting deleted in GoHighLevel can cancel the booking and its reminders. Alerts can arrive as notes on the contact instead of on your phone.
The conversation itself
If you want it, each message is copied into the contact's GoHighLevel conversation in both directions, so a salesperson picking the lead up reads the whole thing.
GoHighLevel is the one CRM built in. Connecting another is a custom build, scoped and priced per project; see custom AI development and custom AI agents.
A real example
A lead-qualification funnel for a business-growth consultancy.
This was built for a partner that sells business-growth work to owners through Meta ads and GoHighLevel forms, and it runs on their number. We describe it without their name; the shape is what matters.
- The ad or the form opens WhatsApp. An ad click, or a GoHighLevel form that triggers the first message, starts the chat. The assistant answers only leads who came in that way, and offers them ways in: a written assessment of their business, or booking a meeting.
- The assessment path is an interview. The assistant talks through the owner's business with them, the server decides the lead's tier from their answers, and the lead receives a written, branded growth assessment built from their own words, with every number in it worked out by the server.
- The document lands before the call is offered. It is filed on the contact in GoHighLevel, with a tag saying it was delivered, and only then is the call offered.
- The meeting path is short. A lead who just wants a call answers a handful of questions, including turnover, and a lead below the partner's floor is told plainly that it is not a fit.
- The follow-ups are the partner's own words. A nudge when the chat goes quiet, and a polite stop, with the card moved to the right column, when a chat is clearly going nowhere. The testimonial and next-day check-in messages are built and ready to switch on.
- The team works from their own board. Every stage, tag and hand-off shows on the partner's GoHighLevel pipeline, and a weekly email tells them what the assistant learned.
Most businesses need a smaller version: your questions, your calendar and one or two follow-ups. From R1 450 a month including VAT for up to 300 conversations, plus a once-off R2 500 setup, covers the assistant as it is, with Meta's WhatsApp fees separate. Fully managed is R4 995 a month with setup included and build items within reason; a funnel like the one above, with its own document and its own rules, is scoped in writing after sign-up. The wider picture is on AI automation and WhatsApp automation.
FAQ
Fair questions.
Can it qualify leads from Facebook or Google ads?
Yes. A click-to-WhatsApp ad from Facebook or Instagram opens a WhatsApp chat the assistant answers straight away, and it records which ad the lead came from. A Google ad that sends people to your website reaches the chat on that site, or a WhatsApp link, and gets the same questions. Either way the qualifying questions are yours.
Does it work with my CRM?
It is built for GoHighLevel: contacts, opportunity cards, pipeline stages, tags, notes, calendar appointments and, if you want it, a copy of each conversation. Another CRM is a custom build, scoped and priced as a project.
How many follow-ups does it send?
As many as you configure and no more, and all of it is off until you switch it on. The quiet-chat nudge is one per conversation, ever, and only inside WhatsApp's 24-hour window. A funnel can add a testimonial message and one next-day check-in on an approved template before the conversation is closed politely. A booking, a person taking over or a safety concern stands them down.
Can it book sales calls?
Yes. It offers times from your real calendar, including GoHighLevel calendars, books the call, confirms it with an add-to-calendar link and can remind the lead before it. You decide which leads may book, for example only those who meet your turnover floor.
Send it a lead and watch what it does.
Message us the way your best lead would, and the way your worst one would. Time the first reply, and see which questions come next.
Written the same way: what it does, what it does not, and how to check it yourself.
